Traditional Tales

The Egyptian Cinderella - Shirley Climo

In our current English unit, we are covering the genre of traditional tales. We have thoroughly enjoyed reading Shirley Climo’s, ‘The Egyptian Cinderella’, and are beginning to innovate her work for our own stories.

We are working hard to include direct speech, expanded noun phrases and ambitious vocabulary. We can’t wait to show you our budding authors’ work once it is completed.

Our next writing project will be centred around the 'Just So Stories'.
