Autumn term
Responsibility
We have started the term exploring the meaning of Unity and Identity & Diversity, as they are our Christian Value and Global Goal respectively for the term.
English
In English, we will be studying a range of texts and generating some pieces of writing from them. Our texts will include The Boy Who Grew Dragons and Viking Boy - oooh scary!
Maths
In Maths, our big focus will be calculation and developing our understanding of multiplying/dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.
We will be making use of MyMaths both in school and at home, as well as Times Tables Rockstars.
Art
We will be studying the work of Henri Rousseau and what is meant by post-impressionism. We can't wait to display our masterpieces later in the term.
