Christmas Enrichment Week
In the week leading up to Christmas, we decided to tell the children about the Christmas Truce. Given that we remembered the centenary of The Armistice in November, we thought it was a prevalent topic to focus on. We linked this with a short unit of work on poetry and we were very impressed with the children's work. Have a look at James' superb poem below - it took the staff's breath away!
